This elegant staff was commissioned as a present to an abbot.

The design is derived from 15th century crosiers from Limoges France.

A mix of fabricated and cast bronze parts enameled and then gold plated to final finish.

The two part staff is made of lengths of walnut capped on the bottom with a walking finial, and is joined in the middle by a hand made decorative screw joint.
